Best Built-In Gas Grills of 2026
An honest ranking of the best built-in gas grills you can buy in 2026, organized by budget and use case. Summerset, Bull, Coyote, Napoleon, RCS, and where each one earns its price.
A built-in gas grill is a 10-to-15-year purchase. Pick the right one and it becomes the centerpiece of an outdoor kitchen you use every week. Pick the wrong one and you're rebuilding the cutout two seasons in. This guide is our shortlist for 2026 — organized by budget tier, with honest notes about where each grill earns its price and where it doesn't.
We deal with every brand on this list daily. We've installed them, serviced them, and replaced them. The recommendations here reflect what we'd actually buy with our own money.
Entry Tier — Under $2,500
Summerset Sizzler 32" or 40"
The Sizzler is the best built-in grill under $2,500, full stop. 304-grade stainless throughout, U-shaped burners with a lifetime warranty, and the underlying Summerset build quality at a price point where its competitors are using cheaper materials. The 32" handles a family of four; the 40" gives you room for entertaining.
Trade-off: no rear rotisserie burner, single-wall hood instead of double-walled. If you can stretch to the Quest series, do — but if you can't, the Sizzler is a real grill at a real price.
Mid Tier — $2,500 to $5,000
Summerset Quest 36"
The 36" Quest is the most-recommended grill we sell, and there's a reason. Double-walled hood, heavier-gauge 304 stainless, U-shaped burners with cast caps for heat distribution, and Summerset's lifetime burner warranty. At its price point, nothing else delivers this combination of build quality and feature set.
Why we pick the 36" specifically: it's the smallest size that handles a brisket alongside sides, and the largest size that fits most stock cutouts without custom masonry.
Bull Angus 30"
Bull is the alternative pick in this tier. The Angus has 4 cast stainless burners, an infrared rotisserie burner, and a real cooking surface for the price. Bull's customer service is excellent (a real differentiator in the warranty-claim world), and the brand has been making grills in California for over 25 years.
How to choose between Bull and Summerset at this tier: Bull is heavier in hand and has slightly thicker stainless on the lid. Summerset has better heat distribution and a more polished interior fit-and-finish. Both are good buys; pick the one you can see and touch in person.
Premium Tier — $5,000 to $8,000
Summerset TRL Pro 38"
The TRL Pro is where Summerset starts competing on construction quality, not just value. Rear infrared rotisserie burner, integrated halogen lights, U-shaped burners with cast caps, and a noticeably heavier hood than the Quest. For households that grill every week and entertain regularly, the step up from Quest to TRL Pro is real.
Coyote C-Series 36"
Coyote is the brand we'd put head-to-head against Summerset TRL Pro at this tier. The build quality is comparable, the design language is more modern (square knobs, sharper edges), and Coyote's ceramic flame tamers give it a different heat profile than Summerset's heat plates. Many of our customers in this tier choose based on aesthetics alone — both are excellent.
Luxury Tier — $8,000+
Hestan Aspire AGB 36"
Hestan's parent company (Meyer Corporation) makes commercial-grade cookware. The Aspire AGB inherits that engineering: cast stainless burners, infrared sear burner, integrated rotisserie, and a fit-and-finish quality you typically only see in indoor pro kitchens. The trade-off is price — you're paying for the brand, the engineering, and a 5-year limited warranty.
Lynx Professional 36"
Lynx is the legacy luxury pick. ProSear infrared burners (the original — Lynx has held the patent for decades), commercial-grade trapezoidal burners, and a lifetime warranty on the burners. Lynx grills are often heirloom appliances — buyers report owning them for 20+ years.
