About Fire Magic
Fire Magic has been building outdoor grills since 1937, when founder Harold Keck bet that Americans would want to move cooking and entertaining outside. He partnered with Bob Peterson to form RH Peterson Co., and nearly ninety years later the grills are still designed and manufactured at the company's factory in City of Industry, California. That matters for more than bragging rights: domestic manufacturing means tight quality control and long-term parts availability on a grill you are expected to keep for decades.
The construction is where Fire Magic separates from the pack. Bodies and housings are heavy-gauge, appliance-grade 304 stainless steel, and the burners are cast stainless steel rather than stamped or welded tube, which is why they carry a lifetime warranty. On top of them sit patented Diamond Sear cooking grids, a stick-resistant stainless design that spreads heat evenly and lays down clean sear marks. Premium models add 110-volt hot surface ignition, halogen oven lights, LED back-lit knobs, an infrared rotisserie back burner, and the optional Magic View Window, a glass panel in the hood that lets you watch the cook without dumping heat.
The lineup runs from the flagship Echelon Diamond, with its black glass control panel, digital touchscreen, and Bluetooth control, down through Aurora, Choice, and the traditional Legacy series in Custom, Deluxe, and Regal trim. Sizes span 24 to 48 inches in built-in, freestanding cart, patio post-mount, in-ground post, and drop-in countertop configurations, in natural gas or propane, with charcoal, electric, and gas/charcoal combo models available as well.
